Wishing a Big Happy Birthday to Sesame Street, the show turns 40 today, and looks great ! I remember watching it when I was growing up. My favorite character was Prairie Dawn.I think she was the person in charge of anything drama related. I have many, many favorite songs! Some of my favorite Sesame Street songs are:
The Sesame Street Theme song, Sunny Days; The Manamana Song; It's not that easy being green, One of these things is not like the other; all the different alphabet songs, Rubber Duckie; C is for Cookie; I love Trash; Somebody Come and Play; Sing; A New Way to Walk; Doin' the Pigeon;People in your neighborhood; One Small Voice. This list is not in order, nor is it inclusive. I SO love the songs, that I purchased the cassettes for my children, when they were much, much smaller...awh, such fond memories. :) I love watching Jim Henson fall down the stairs with baked goods/pasteries during the counting segments, fun!
